The Swedish choreographer approached Cuban culture through rumba, a genre of traditional Cuban music with African roots. The score by Leo Brouwer, one of Cuba’s most important composers, was the starting point that Lidberg and Stefan Levin used to create a celebration of youth between twilights and dawns. The installation Vientos (2017), by Cuban visual artist Elizabet Cerviño is used as the set onstage. World premiere by Acosta Danza on 6 April 2018 at the Gran Teatro de La Habana ‘Alicia Alonso’.
