NEW SEASON OF PERFORMANCES AT THE NATIONAL THEATER

Acosta Danza, with the general direction of the Principal Dancer Carlos Acosta, will present its season "20", on June 17 and 18, in the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.

The show brings together choreographies by international and Cuban creators. The dancers will interpret the pieces Mundo Interpretado, by the Brazilian Juliano Nunes, with original score by Pepe Gavilondo and designs by the visual artist Glenda León; Soledad, by Spanish Rafael Bonachela, with music by Astor Piazzola, Agustín Lara and popular Latin American songs, performed by Chavela Vargas.

The public that attends these functions will also be able to enjoy Liberto, the creation of the Cuban Raúl Reinoso, with music by Pepe Gavilondo, inspired by works of Cuban literature. Every night closes with the choreography Imponderable, by the Spanish artist Goyo Montero. This piece is based on the lyrical universe of the Cuban troubadour Silvio Rodríguez.

The functions of Season "20" will be at 7:30 pm on Saturday and at 5:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets will be on sale at the theater box office from Tuesday, June 13.
